Concept
VASTA provides and internationally recognised intensive modular course in veterinary anaesthesia in six individual modules.
The following content is taught in the modules (list not exhaustive):
- Physiology and pathophysiology
- Pharmacology
- Anaesthetic techniques
- Pain management
- Equipment and monitoring
- Clinical anaesthesia
The focus of teaching lies in the practical application of the knowledge gained during the modules. The goal is to increase the knowledge and skills to make clinical anaesthesia in practice under the supervision of a veterinarian safer and better.
Target group
The modules are planned as an extra-occupational course for Veterinary Technicians, veterinarians and nurses in the german speaking part of Europe for the Switzerland courses and in the UK for the UK courses.
The maximal number of participants is 24 people.
Fees
For the Switzerland courses:
– with full prepayment for all 6 modules incl. examination fee: CHF 6’500.
– for single module registration: CHF 1’000
– examination fees (when not included in full payment): CHF 500
For the UK courses:
– with full pre-payment for all 6 modules incl. examination fee: £ 3’600
– for single module registration: £ 650
– examination fees (when not included in full payment): £ 350
For all courses:
All fees include materials and catering during the courses.
Payment arrangements are flexible and reductions are possible when payment is received ahead of the course.
