Renate Hagleitner
Dipl. MPA, TPA, VAT, Equine paramedic
Renate completed her degree as medical practice assistant 1982 and has worked in a GP practice with internal medicine focus for 21 years. During this time she became a samaritan as well as an instructor for the Swiss Samaritan Federation. She also underwent further training in methodology and didactics and as an equine paramedic. In 1992 she started lecturing in first aid and” assisting consultations”. In 2002 she started to work part time as a veterinary assitant and graduated in 2004 with a diploma. She underwent training at VASTA (Veterinary Anaesthesia School for Technicians and Nurses – VASTA) gaining her diploma VAT in 2009. Since 2008 she is head of the department for veterinary assistants at FREI‘S Schulen and teaches “assisting in consultation”, practice administration, pharmaceutics and anaesthesiology. She is also an examination expert for medical and veterinary assistants. In her free time her horse Carmena as well as her Retriever Ianis are her main focus.
